Unreal Tournament Maps

Here you can download some home-brewed Unreal Tournament maps I have made; the newest ones are at the top.
Note that these maps were designed for the original Unreal Tournament, not UT2003/04 or UT3.
You can copy, modify and distribute these maps as you see fit.


Partick Snooker Hall
Game types: DeathMatch, Domination
Mapping & texturing: Lamsey
Original real-life location: Partick Snooker Hall, Glasgow

Based on my local snooker club, this is the best map I've created yet. It's very dark and atmospheric and the gameplay in the tight spaces is fantastic.
Like most of my other creations it's pretty small (2-6 players) and designed for fast-paced play.

Zapp Zone
Game types: DeathMatch, Domination
Mapping: Lamsey / Original concept: Fat Chucky
Original real-life location: Clydebank ZappZone, Glasgow

This map is based on a real-life site - the Zapp Zone in Clydebank, Glasgow. It's good-looking visually, much more so than the Facility. It's very small (2-6 players) and is ideal for fast-paced gaming. There are only energy weapons, in keeping with the Laser Tag concept.

The Facility - UT Edition
Game types: DeathMatch, CTF, Domination
Mapping & texturing: Lamsey
Original level from GoldenEye on N64

This map is based on my favourite multiplayer level from GoldenEye: the Facility. It doesn't look great, but then again neither did the original |:-p
There are a few UT-specific balance changes, but the original concept and layout remains the same.
The maps even have the music from the N64 original!

Facing Worlds ]|[
Game type: CTF4
Mapping: Lamsey
Original concept: Inoxx

This map is based on Inoxx's legendary Facing Worlds map, only it was created for the brilliant CTF4 game type (click here to download CTF4). I wrote it from scratch and as usual it's not visually stunning, but the gameplay is fun.

Onsite Acquisition
Game type: Deathmatch
Mapping: Lamsey

The idea of this arena-style level is that you start off with one weapon and a suitable powerup, and after that it's down to 'Onsite Acquisition' - i.e. you've got to kill to get more weaponry! This can be interesting because sometimes you'll get stuck with a weapon you wouldn't usually use.

Four Rooms

This is the first map I ever created in UnrealEd; it's a small, crappy map designed for basic experimentation with brushes, actors and paths.
I've put this up for a laugh, and also because it can actually be quite fun to play with 6 players - very hectic..
